The project entitled E-tutor is developed with the intension to create software for the e learning process .the objective of e-tutor is to improve access to advanced educational experience by allowing students and instructors to participate in remote learning communities using personal computers at home or at work.                   E-tutor is a teaching and learning environment located with in a computer mediated communication system. The project is to implement virtual class using java and J2EE      Technology. It uses collaborative learning process that emphasizes group or corporative efforts among faculty and students, active participation and interaction in the part both students and instructors and new knowledge that emerges from an active dialog among those who are sharing ideas and information                  Qualified tutors will be recruited to conduct virtual classes for students. Either the students can register themselves or their parents can register for them Certain fee will be collected from students and will be paid to tutors based on the no of hours of classes handled by them .Tutors can be graded by the qualification and students feedback. Registered students can apply for classes and the administrator will allocate the tutor available at the specified time for the subject. Students Performance will be generated and mailed to the student or parent on request. E-tutor uses method that will fully engage the student in the learning process through an interactive, dynamic environment involving the student, online material and an instructor. In physical class room there is a standard set of audio visual  Equipment and tools available to the instructor with the appropriate design the student should be able to take advantage of these tools with out leaving the comfort of their favorite web browser interface. Some of those considered for e-tutor are interactive text chat E=tutor improves access to advanced educational experience by allowing students and instructors to participate in remote learning communities using personal computer at home or at work.  Modules  1.
